Celebrating Over 1000 Children Served since 2013.

We're on a mission to change as many children's lives as possible.

Help us Fundraise, Foster or Donate and change a child's life. We're a small local registered nonprofit foundation with big hearts and we are not state funded.

We provide programs and services that help children from falling through the cracks in the foster system and give them the lives and the best start they deserve.

Please help us to save more children.

We're a trusted & registered charity.

Years of Loving Experience

We understand that not everyone is able to foster or adopt, but everyone can help in one way or another.

There are many ways we help children, and we understand that not everyone is sitting on cash to donate, so there are multiple options to help

Fundraise

Rose Again Foundation understands that not everyone can foster.

Not everyone can donate. Yet there are several ways to give back as an individual or family that can impact the lives of foster children struggling with their trauma and the loss and separation from family.

Volunteer

Rose Again Foundation offers several ways for you, your family and friends to volunteer and give back in support of “our” kids throughout the year.

Contact us to receive information on current events and fun volunteer opportunities for the whole family.

Donate

Rose Again Foundation is here to support foster children and emancipated foster youth in need.

Please consider a one time or monthly donation to help us provide valuable and healing services to foster children.

We count on you, because they count on us!

We offer 5 critical different programs from gifting children Emergency/Placement bags.

We offer five different programs from getting children emergency placement, to educating them with the tutor me program & allowing children to take part in extra curricular activities such as sports, scouts, music, arts and more.

Emergency Placement

EP

Rose Again Foundation provides Emergency / New Placement Gifting of new clothes, shoes, undergarments, basic necessities, backpack, books and toys, school supplies, handmade blanket and cards of encouragement to foster children when they first arrive to their foster home.

Foster parents complete the Emergency / New Placement Gifting application which provides the child’s clothing and shoe size, favorite color, character or team and any special needs. Rose Again Foundation then shops for the child and delivers the gift bags to the foster home.

Our goal is to provide the child with these basic necessities within 48 hours of receiving the application. This allows the child to quickly get back to their daily routine such as returning to school. It also allows the child to attend school in new clothes and shoes that look good and fit properly.

Tutor Me Program

TMP

Rose Again Foundation created our Tutor Me Program when several foster families reached out expressing a dire and immediate need for tutoring. One family had foster children tied to a high profile case and they were not allowed to attend school for their own safety. Another family shared that their fosters had never gone to school and could only write their first name at ages 9 and 11, and yet were placed in their grade level at school.

Our Tutor Me program provides in-home tutoring to Emergency / New Placement foster children to help them catch up to their grade level at school. Being taught in the comfort and privacy of their foster home is key to helping the kids learn. Understanding what is being taught in the classroom helps foster kids better acclimate to their new school, builds self esteem and allows the fosters to make new friends.

Extra Curricular Activities

ECA

Rose Again Foundation provides financial assistance through our Kids Soar - Extra Curricular Activities Program for foster children to take part in the extra curricular activity of their choice. This includes sports, music, arts, STEAM, Scouts, Clubs, and day or week camps.

Extra Curricular Activities provide a healthy outlet for the pain, trauma and anger foster children carry with them. These precious children wake up each day putting one foot in front of the other as they try to acclimate to their new surroundings, catch up to their grade level at school, make new friends and learn to trust again.

Extra Curricular Activities give foster children the opportunity to take part in something they may have only dreamed of doing as they learn, achieve, make new friends and enjoy just being a kid again.

Good Start Program

GSP

“Foster children wake up daily struggling with their abuse, neglect, or trauma and the separation from their family. Many arrived malnourished and lack good eating habits. Rose Again Foundation's Good Start Breakfast Program provides healthy, delicious and nutritious meals to foster children and aged out emancipated foster young adults.”

- Rhonda Reinke, Board President

How We Were Founded

Here’s the story on how Rose Again Foundation was founded:

Natalie Rose (Shadle) Dixon has always loved children. Growing up in a family of eight and the oldest of six siblings, children have always been part of her life. With a love for children and a desire to help others, Natalie embarked on an incredible journey to make the world a better place one child at a time. In 2012, just before her senior year of high school, Natalie and her father, Craig, traveled to Guatemala on a mission trip and served at an orphanage which provided a safe, loving and long term living environment for orphans. The trip had a lasting impression on the seventeen year old. She returned home with a deep passion to serve orphans and foster children. In May of 2013, Natalie assembled a Board of Directors, held her first board meeting and founded Rose Again Foundation.
